Pop is getting a Brace for his back

Pop is getting a brace for his back soon. Today we went to OSA Orthopaedic Specialists of Alabama and saw Dr Matthew Berke and i called BioTech Limb and Brace and Pop has an appointment this Thursday with them. This brace won't cure what has happened to Pop but will hopefully stop the progression of his slumping back. He is doing well, eating well and loves getting out in his Jazzy Chair.

The month of MAY 2009

The month of May has been a wet one. Pop is doing as well as can be expected for like he say's "old folks like me". His hoping the weather gets better so he can spend more time in the yard, but if I don't get our lawn tractor back soon we will need a bush wacker to get it cut. Pop went to the doctor's last week to see what we could do about his problem of standing and sitting straight. Am in the process of getting with the VA to acquire him a brace that will help him set and stand straight and we will be able also to get him a pair of new glasses, his sight is getting somewhat weeker. Over all he is doing well. Will be adding as the month goes on new and exciting things that happens in POP's world.
